About Sonomore

An independent sync licensing company

Sonomore Music is an independent, boutique sync licensing company. We license one-stop music for advertising, film, TV and online video: indie and alt-pop songs, commercial music written for ads, and custom music written to brief. Sound, and more.

Why we exist

Great independent music should be fast to clear

There’s no shortage of great independent music. What’s short is time. Music supervisors, agency producers and editors work to air dates, and a song that takes weeks to clear is a song that doesn’t make the cut, however right it sounds.

So the safe choice often wins over the right one. Sonomore exists to close that gap: independent songs and original music with the rights already in one place, so the track you love can also be the track you can license, quickly and without surprises.

We keep master and publishing in-house for the music we license. That’s the whole idea in one line: one-stop, so clearance takes one email.

How we work

A small studio, not a marketplace

We’re a boutique by design. You won’t scroll through endless search results here. You’ll hear a focused catalog, and when you send a brief, the people who know the music answer it.

Sonomore is built on 10+ years of experience in the music industry. Every track gets the same care, whether it’s a :15 social cutdown or a song for an end credit. Everything is produced, mixed and mastered to broadcast standard. Our writer is PRO-registered, so the cue sheet side is covered too.

Alongside the catalog we write custom music for commercials and brands.

Values

What we care about

  • One-stop, always

If we can’t clear it in one agreement, it isn’t in the catalog.

  • Music first

Songs written because they needed writing, and ad music written with the same care.

  • Straight answers

Clear quotes, plain-English licenses and a real person on the other end of the email.

  • Picture comes first

The music serves the edit. If a track isn’t right for your cut, we’ll say so.
