Music for advertising
Music for commercials, cleared in one step
Sonomore licenses music for commercials, social ads and brand videos: upbeat, brand-friendly tracks written for advertising, and indie songs with real hooks when a spot needs a voice. We control master and publishing in-house, so one agreement clears the track, and stems and :15 / :30 / :60 cutdowns are ready when the edit needs them.
The catalog
Songs and tracks for commercials
Advertising music has a job to do. It has to land the brand in the first few seconds, sit under a voiceover without fighting it and hit the end card on time. Our music for ads is written with that in mind: confident openings, builds that can move with the cut and endings that resolve cleanly, so your editor isn’t fading out mid-phrase.
When a campaign needs a song rather than a track, our indie songs for sync bring vocals, lyrics and real hooks. They’re one-stop too, so a vocal song clears the same way as a commercial cue: one quote, one agreement, one contact.
Every license is scoped to how you’ll use the music. A paid social campaign, a national TV spot and a brand film are different uses, so we quote for the media, term and territory you need rather than charging for rights you won’t use.

One-stop
Why one-stop matters for advertising
Ad timelines don’t wait for paperwork. With most commercial music the recording and the song belong to different companies, so a license means agreeing terms twice, sometimes with several co-publishers, before the spot can air.
With Sonomore, master and publishing sit in one place. You get one quote and one agreement from one contact, which keeps approvals simple for agency producers, business affairs and the brand.
Quotes
What a quote depends on
We don’t publish a price list, because no two campaigns use music the same way. These five things shape the quote.
-
Media
Where the work runs: TV, cinema, online video, paid social, in-store or events.
-
Term
How long you need the license: a few months, a year or longer.
-
Territory
Where it runs: one country, a region or worldwide.
-
Exposure
How big the campaign is: the number of spots, channels and paid media behind it.
-
Edits
What you need delivered: cutdowns, stems, alt mixes or a custom edit.

FAQ
Music for commercials: questions
What agency producers and brand teams ask before licensing a track.
How much does a license cost?
It depends on how the music will be used: the media (for example TV, online, cinema or social), the term, the territory and the level of exposure, plus any edits you need. We don't publish a price list because every use is different. Send us a brief and we'll come back with a quote.
Can I get instrumentals, stems, alt mixes or cutdowns?
Yes. On request we can supply the full mix, an instrumental, stems and cutdowns to common lengths such as :15, :30 and :60, so your editor can shape the track to picture. If you need an alternative mix, tell us which track and what you need in your brief.
Can you edit a track to :15, :30 and :60?
Yes. Cutdowns to :15, :30 and :60 are available on request, and stems let your editor fine-tune hits, transitions and the ending. Share your edit points or a rough cut with the brief and we'll fit the music to them.
Can we license a track for online and social ads only?
Yes. A license is scoped to how you'll use the music, so an online or social-only campaign is quoted for that media, term and territory. If the campaign later moves to TV, ask us about extending the license.
How quickly can a track be cleared for a campaign?
Because we control master and publishing in-house, there is only one party to agree terms with. Send a brief with your media, term, territory and air date, and we'll reply with a quote and the paperwork to match.
